Mortgage advice
What rules and conditions do I have to take into account?
Buying a home in the Netherlands as an expat comes with its own rules and requirements, but it doesn’t have to be complicated. In many cases, you can finance up to 100% of the purchase price of your property. However, additional costs such as notary fees, advice costs and registration fees are not included in the mortgage and need to be covered separately.
Banks will always look at the value of the property and the stability of your income, both now and in the future. The key question is simple: is the mortgage affordable for you in your current situation, but also if your circumstances change?
That’s where we come in. At Intersant, we guide you through the entire process and provide clear, independent advice based on your personal situation. Together we look at what you can comfortably afford each month and what level of financial security you need, for example in case of income loss, illness, job changes or retirement.
We compare a wide range of lenders and select the options that best fit your situation. Because we are fully independent, we are not tied to specific banks or products. Our focus is always on finding the mortgage that truly suits you, so you can buy your home in the Netherlands with confidence.
